Chaired by our Managing Director, Geoff Baxter they discussed the potential of AI for economic development professionals, explained the basics of generative AI and its applications, the importance of responsible and transparent use of AI and provided a step-by-step approach to introducing AI tools for businesses. To close, they introduced Smarter Society’s AI programme for local authorities, as well as the potential use of AI tools to empower their working practices.
