We are delighted to announce that we have been appointed grant administrators for the Activate Skills Development Grant Fund, partnering with Culture Central as part of West Midlands Combined Authority’s Activate Programme.
The grant is for all West Midlands creative freelancers and small organisations who want to develop new skills and further their creative practice.
The Activate Grant Fund is part of the Commonwealth Games Legacy Enhancement Fund and will support freelancers, micro and small organisations in the West Midlands Creative and Cultural sectors to fund skills development.
Geoff Baxter, Managing Director, Smarter Society remarked: “We are delighted to have been appointed by West Midlands Combined Authority to administer this grant fund to the creative sector. Smarter Society’s grant administration experience means we are well placed to support WMCA to deliver the aims of this initiative. We look forward to partnering with Culture Central and WMCA teams on this programme.”
