In March we successfully delivered the inaugural West Kent Expo’24 as part of the West Kent business support programme managed by Invest West Kent.
The expo attracted over 500 attendees during the day; with 60 exhibitors from varying sectors and size of business represented. Workshops and panel discussion were well attended on a variety of subjects; these included procurement of business grants, building partnerships for business, metrics for marketing and more.
The valued support from Sevenoaks District Chamber of Commerce, Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, The TN card, FSB and Locate in Kent accelerated reach and awareness. We are proud of these continued collaborations, which can only strengthen the support available to the business community.

The West Kent Business programme is funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund as part of the Government’s Levelling Up agenda. It is managed by Invest West Kent (the three West Kent Local Authorities of Sevenoaks District Council, Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council and Tunbridge Wells Borough Council) in collaboration with Smarter Society.
